ABOUT NYSSN
The New York Script Supervisors Network is a support network for one of the most challenging and autonomous roles in the filmmaking process.
NYSSN is comprised of members of all levels of experience, both union affiliated and non-union, who work in various types of production.
Our principal goals consist of, but are not limited to the following:
-
Provide an opportunity to meet and network with other Script Supervisors.
-
Create opportunities to educate ourselves, share information, and improve work skills.
-
Increase awareness within the film community of the role of the Script Supervisor and promote a greater understanding and respect for the craft.
-
Provide a supportive environment as well as further the sense of professional community among Script Supervisors.
NYSSN was established in September 1996 by Peggy Sutton. It is a not-for-profit organization and is strictly for Script Supervisors.
